Nice
Added to the UNESCO world heritage list in 2021, Nice is best discovered on foot. The famous Promenade des Anglais, the traditional architecture of Vieux Nice, Place Masséna, Cimiez hill… Nissa la Bella will never stop charming you!
- Promenade des Anglais: 5 mins from the **** Hotel Riviera Collection, the Promenade des Anglais extends over 7 kilometres from the Jardin Albert Premier. Bordered on both sides by palm trees, prestigious establishments that have given Nice its renown – most notably the Negresco – and the “Big Blue,” the “Prom” is cherished by inhabitants of Nice and visitors alike.
- Vieux-Nice: Gateway to this historic district, Place Masséna seduces you with the dimensions of its square, its red façades, as well as its Soleil fountain. Then it gives way to a labyrinth of colourful side streets, and to Cours Saleya where a flower, fruit and vegetable market is held every day. You are now in the heart of Nice, of its traditions and art de vivre. Here you can also discover the Opera, the Chapelle de la Miséricorde with its remarkable baroque style, or the Sainte-Réparate Cathedral.

- The Vieux-Port district: Here you can take a leisurely stroll and find authentic restaurants in which to try traditional Niçois recipes, with salad niçois, socca and daube at the top of the list.
- Castle Hill: The 12th-century castle was destroyed by Louis XIV. From the top of the hill, accessible by steps from Rue des Ponchettes or by elevator (free), you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Baie des Anges.
- Quai Rauba Capeu: a prolongation of the Promenade des Anglais, with a unique view over the Baie des Anges and the Lympia port.
And there are so many other treasures to discover during your stay at the **** Hotel Riviera Collection.
